C’est une nouvelle fois Gameloft qui nous fait découvrir le jeu de la semaine SmartAppli. Il s’agit encore une fois d’un célèbre jeu PC, j’ai nommé The Settlers.

The Settlers iPhone est un jeu de stratégie et de gestion de civilisations où Romains, Vikings et Mayas coopèrent ou s’affrontent pour atteindre un certain nombre d’objectifs : occuper des territoires, se fournir en matières premières et construire la plus belle colonie possible.

Le titre vous place à la tête d’une petite colonie qu’il faut développer en concentrant l’essentiel de vos efforts sur la découverte et l’exploitation de nouvelles ressources, puis sur la transformation de matières brutes en denrées plus évoluées.

Les graphismes sont vraiment très fins

Ce qui marque le plus lorsque l’on prend en main le jeu sur iPhone ou iPod Touch, c’est sa qualité graphique et son animation. Une vrai réussite sur toute la ligne dont Gameloft commence à nous habituer.

How to Win!

There are too many differents, so its best to start anew and build your abilities from scratch. If you just continue your old game it MIGHT be too hard because you might have spent your resources on different things. Just a thought I had.

1. Make use of various different Units and upgrade them. You can’t win by producing a couple of strong Units.

2. Very little Mana is provided in the beginning of the game. Wipe out Blue-tone blocks to collect Mana, and upgrade Mana Pool to the highest level.

3. Enemies attack in waves from the start. So produce defense Units as you collect Mana.

4. Melee Units have high Health Points (HPs) and high attack power. Ranged Units have lower HPs and lower attack power, but can attack multiple Enemy Units from a distance. You can deploy Melee Units at the front and Ranged Units at the back.
Ranged Units: Gunner, Mage, Elemental, Angel

5. Special Attacks have 12 times higher attack power.

6. Upgrade Mana Pool as fast as you can while maintaining the defense force. The higher the Mana level is, the more Units you can produce.
